We show here some yoga Asanas; we have undertaken these postures to the best of our ability. They are not perfect, but we hope they provide you with an indication of the level of our practice.

Asanas comprise only one of the eight limbs of yoga. The eight limbs of yoga are: -

Yama ethical disciplines
Niyama self observation
Asana posture
Pranayama breath control
Pratyahara sense withdrawal
Dharana concentration
Dhyana meditation
Samadhi a state of peace and joy
Urdhva Mukha Paschimottanasana
In the Yoga Sutra, Patanjali tells us 'Posture is steadiness and ease. Asana (resting in a posture) happens when effort ceases and meditation occurs.' Urdhva Mukha Paschimottanasana
